
The Ikageng police are investigating an inquest case after a 25-year-old man in Ext. 11, Baipei died before help arrived on Saturday.
According to Const. Kelebogile Trom, Ikageng SAPS spokesperson, the police received a call at about 07:30 of a man who had hit a window with his right arm.
When they arrived at the scene they found the victim lying on the floor in a shack and not responding. There was blood on the window and he had a wound on the right arm. ER24 certified the victim dead.
Last month, the Herald reported that four inquest dockets had been opened for people in Ikageng who had died under tragic and mysterious circumstances.
A 77-year-old man, a 38-year-old man and a 16-year-old teenage girl were found hanging from roofs in separate incidents. A 40-year-old man also passed away after drinking brake fluid and thinners.
