a Businesswoman is living in fear after her husband was shot during a robbery at her home in Reitz Street on Saturday (27 May).
While her husband is recovering in a hospital the 34-year-old Charity Nwaeke has gone into hiding living in a guesthouse out of fear. The suspects were arrested shortly after the robbery and are appearing today (7 June) to apply for bail.
“If they get bail I can’t be safe,” she said.
Nwaeke who buys and sells cars for a living stated that along with the cash amount that was stolen the suspects also fled with all her car keys.
“They can come back at any time to steal the cars,” she said.
Two of the suspects are believed to be ex-employees.
