The community patrollers of Ext. 11 enacted a citizen’s arrest when they apprehended three armed boys younger than seventeen last Friday at about 10:00.
According to WO Ismael Mohutsiwa, the Ikageng SAPS spokesperson, the boys were found with knives engraved with an SVK emblem. ‘The community patrollers stopped them and searched them and found dangerous weapons.
The juveniles were handed over to the social workers and they appeared before the Potchefstroom Magistrates’ Court on Monday,’ reported Mohutsiwa.
