A 31-year-old woman in Ikageng has been accused of raping her 36-year-old husband at knifepoint.
According to Sgt Kelebogile Trom, the Ikageng police spokesperson, the complainant alleges that the woman came into the main bedroom after both arriving home from a tavern last Friday night. She woke him up and demanded sex, threatening to stab him if he did not comply. ‘His wife undressed him and proceeded to rape him. After the deed, she told him to buy her a cell phone or else she would open a case of rape against him,’ reported Trom.
She said the couple had been sleeping in different rooms because of a court order. ‘He slept in the bedroom and she slept in the sitting room.’
