Round Table 47 Potchefstroom will be hosting their fifth Craft Beer Festival at the old Snowflake building in Piet Bosman Street, Potchefstroom on Saturday, 14 July.
The Craft Beer Festival is Round Table 47’s biggest fundraiser for the year and they are inviting the community to join in the festivities.
The event features craft beers from eight brewers from around the North West and neighbouring provinces.
‘On average, we host about 1 200 punters on one day,’ says the organiser, Jacques Visagie.
The Craft Beer Festival might sound like a place for beer-lovers only but this is a feast for the entire family.
There will be a fully assisted kids corner with childminders entertaining the children from the morning to mid-afternoon.
Round Table clubs from around the Potchefstroom area will also have food stalls so that no one has to drink on an empty stomach. The money they make will be used to fund their own Round Table projects.
‘Look out for the regalia stall and our Round Table food stalls that support their communities with the funds they raise,’ says Visagie.
While people enjoy the delicious food and the wide variety of craft beers and ciders, ‘Die Rowers’ band will be rocking the event with their fun music.
Brewers that will be showcasing their wares on this day are Rocklands Brewery, Kabenja Brewery, Black Horse, Clarens Brewery, Dog and Fig and proudly Potchefstroom, Route 96 Brewery.
