Mediclinic temporarily suspends visiting hours

In an effort of reducing the risk of Covid-19 for its patients Mediclinic Potchefstroom will temporarily suspend its general visiting hours.

In an effort of reducing the risk of Covid-19 for its patients Mediclinic Potchefstroom will temporarily suspend its general visiting hours. This suspension will start on Wednesday (1 April).

According to Diana King, Mediclinic Potchefstroom spokesperson, exceptions will be made for visits to the NICU, Maternity unit, Paediatric Unit and visitation of critically ill patients.

“These exceptions will be limited to strictly one visitor per patient and must be arranged with hospital management,” she said.

King confirmed that there were still no confirmed cases of Covid-19 at Mediclinic.
