According to the North West Department of Health’s Facebook page, four new Covid-19 related deaths in the province have been recorded. Two of these were recorded in the J.B. Marks Local Municipality.
The first Covid-19 related death in the North West was reported in Rustenburg, Bojanala Local Municipality.
In total, the North West has now reported five deaths.

In the JB Marks Local Municipality, there’s a total of 41 confirmed cases, and 15 recoveries.
The number of confirmed cases in the province were 757, with 106 recoveries and 646 active cases.
In the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality, there are 248 confirmed cases.
