J. B. Marks Council mourns the passing of Councillor Benjamin Leburu Ofentse.
According to William Maphosa, Municipal spokesperson, they received the news of his passing yesterday (9 July).
“The family reports that the councillor had sudden respiratory problems in the early hours of the morning and was rushed to Potchefstroom Hospital where he passed away,” said Maphosa.
The cause of his passing is yet to be determined.
“Councillor Benjamin Leburu Ofentse was a dedicated and selfless councillor of Ward 9, in Ikageng since the beginning of the current term in 2016,” Maphosa said.
