Eskom has announced that Phase 2 load-shedding will be implemented today (18 August) from 16:00-22:00 and continue tomorrow (19 August)  from 09:00-22:00.

For today (18 August) Potchefstroom will not experience load shedding related power outages. Wednesday (19 August) however, the power will be off from 09:00 – 12:30.

No announcements have been made for the rest of the week yet. Eskom has said that because the network is under severe strain, load-shedding will be announced at short notice.
