Eskom announced early this morning that phase 2 load shedding will commence from 12:00-22:00 today (1 September).

According to Sikonathi Mantshantsha, Eskom spokesperson, phase 2 could continue for the rest of the week.

In Potchefstroom, the power will be off today (1 September ) from 16:00- 20:30. If load shedding continues for the rest of the week, Potchefstroom will be off on the following days:

Wednesday (2 September): Safe

Thursday (3 September) :16:00-20:30

Friday (4 September) : 08:00-12:30

Saturday (5 September): Safe

Sunday (6 September) : 08:00 -12:30
