A 19-year-old girl alleges that she was abducted and raped by three men in a shack in Extension 11 Baipei on Saturday, 12 September.
According to Colonel Adelé Myburgh, the police spokesperson, the girl was walking home around 19:00 on Saturday when a white VW Golf with tinted windows allegedly stopped in front of her. A man grabbed her, shoved a cloth into her mouth and forced her into the car. The suspects allegedly took her to a shack, where they held her hostage and all three men raped her repeatedly.
She managed to escape around 05:25 the next morning and called for help.
“A case of kidnapping and rape is under investigation,” said Colonel Myburgh.
