The Thuso ya Bokamoso group recently donated school shoes to 20 learners at Pudulogo Primary School.

Kamogelo Mogagabe, Khanyisile Sizane and Onalenna Kgomanyane drove the initiative for learners in need. Mogagabe, the founder of Thuso ya Bokamoso, says the sight of children walking around Ikageng without school shoes saddens him. He said it reminded him of the times his former classmates were absent because they didn’t have school shoes.

Dora Phukuile, a care and support for teaching and learning (CSTL) educator at Pudulogo Primary School, expressed her gratitude towards the trio for the gesture. She said learners without school shoes sometimes avoid coming to school as they feel inferior to their peers. Phukuile encouraged the group to continue with their drive to assist underprivileged families. It brings the trio great joy to be able to give to other children and see them happy.

Mogagabe added that this was the first of many projects to come.
