Eskom has announced that stage 4 load-shedding will be implemented from 14:00 today (9 June) until this evening at 22:00.

After 22:00 the power utility will revert back to stage 2.

Potchefstroom will be without power from 20:00 – 22:30 this evening (9 June)

According to a statement from Eskom this is because of additional breakdowns and the high winter demand.

“These capacity constraints will continue for the forseeable future and all South Africans are urged to reduce their use of electricity,” the statement reads.
