Active Covid-19 cases in J.B. Marks increase by 28

The number of active cases in the J.B. Marks municipality have increased to 969.

This is an increase of 28 active cases in a 24 hour period.

According to statistics released by the North West department of Health, no new deaths due to Covid-19 have been recorded. The number of people that have passed away due to the virus in the municipality is still at 250.

According to the latest statistics it seems no new vaccinations have been administered in the last 24 hours.

Statistics released by the department yesterday (29 June) stated that 138 060 people have vaccinated in the province so far. The statistics released today (30 June) shows the same amount vaccines administered.  It could be that the data is still being processed. The Herald has asked the department for comment on the statistics which will be added to the article as soon as it is received.
