The station commander of the Potchefstroom police station, has reassured residents of Potchefstroom that there have been no incidents of looting or protests in Potchefstroom. 

The station commander of the Potchefstroom police station, has reassured residents of Potchefstroom that there have been no incidents of looting or protests in Potchefstroom.

“I just want to assure our community that there is no protests or looting of any businesses within our policing precinct. We ask for our community remain calm. We ask for people to act responsibly and to stop spreading false information or misinformation,” Brigadier Steven Moodley said.

According to him if any information becomes available with regards to possible protests, the police will inform residents.

“At this stage there is no information whatsoever,” Moodley said.
