Promosa Primary hosted a well-organised, informative foundation-phase expo at the school on Friday, 22 October.
The purpose of this expo was to inform and train educators of various schools on key foundation-phase aspects. The theme of the expo was ”Provoke Change”, focusing on quality management in the classrooms.
The attendees had a tour of the classrooms at Promosa Primary. Ten schools in the Retlakaona circuit took part in this expo.


Specific gallery shows were also hosted on various subjects, giving better insight on furthering the need for quality learning in the foundation phase.
Ms Mmoni Gaabue, a Foundation Phase subject advisor in J.B. Marks sub district. came up with the initiative to empower other schools and their educators in the area. Ms Gladys Gerber, the deputy principal at Promosa Primary, was the tour guide during the expo. She gave attendees an in-depth look at how foundation phase learning comes to life at Promosa Primary.
Mr Clement Adams, the principal of Promosa Primary, said the expo was extremely successful and that he was proud of everyone’s input in ensuring a quality event. “Everyone really enjoyed the expo, especially the show rooms,” he said.
