Emergency power outage in Potchefstroom on Sunday

Tomorrow (Sunday, 14 November) most residential areas in Potchefstroom will be without power from 8:00 – 16:00.

According to the Technical Services Department of J.B. Marks municipality, Eskom needs to do emergency repairs related to some identified illegal connections and severe oil leaks at transformers.

The areas that will be affected are:

• Ikageng and extentions
• Mohadin
• Promosa
• Bailliepark
• Grimbeeck Park
• Van der Hoff Park
• Vyfhoek
• Mooivallei
• Sanitas
• Bult
• Tuscany Ridge
• Waterberry
• Mooivallei Park

Residents are kindly requested to treat all equipment as live as power can be restored any time between 8:00-16:00.
