JB Marks local municipality extends condolences
The JB Marks Local Municipality confirmed that they have lost two more officials who were both employed at the Department of Community Safety.
The JB Marks Local Municipality confirmed that they have lost two more officials who were both employed at the Department of Community Safety, Mr France Ledima Senne and Ms Nomathemba Ivy (Humane) Mqwazi.
Mr Senne, who got appointed on 01 October 2010 as an Acting Manager for the Driver, Learner Licenses Testing Centre & Vehicle Testing Station at the time, was the Senior Fire Fighter while Ms Mqwazi was appointed on 20 November 2015. On Friday, 24 May 2022, both employees died of natural causes after being admitted to the hospital.
The Management and Political Leadership of JB Marks Local Municipality observe this moment with a deep feeling of sorrow and seriousness. “Our heartfelt condolences go to the families and friends who lost a loved one in this tragedy. Wishing them courage and peace during this time of mourning,” the statement read.
The municipality is deeply sorry and saddened to have lost such young people who were so experienced and committed to their respective professions.
