To end Youth Month on a high note, Kabelo Moseane, a Miss Campus finalist, recently donated exam packages to learners at BM Chaobi Primary in collaboration with her NGO, the GodwithinHer Foundation.
“I was inspired by a quote by Nelson Mandela ‘let us reach out to the children. Let us do whatever we can to help them fight and rise above their pain and suffering’,” she explained.
Moseane says she specifically donated the packages to grade seven learners because they will be embarking on a new journey next year. The third-year NWU Financial Accounting Student said it was important for her to also give them a talk to remind them of the importance of studying.

Each exam care package included a book, flip file, pens, coloured pens, and a sanitary towel. “On 24 June, I had the opportunity to speak to the learners and offer them words of encouragement and inspire them to dream big and work hard,” she said. “It was inspiring to see the learners’ faces brighten up as I offered them advice,” she said.
