The Provincial Head’s award went to Capt. Foloti for his continued excellent work in his field. The DPCI National Head, Lt Gen. Godfrey Lebeya and Maj. Gen Patrick Mbotho, Hawks provincial head, presented the award.

Lebeya stated in his keynote address that continued cooperation between the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and the DPCI would be a key factor in the success rate of cases.

“The DPCI must continue to deliver the services the public expects. We are trying our best,” added Lebeya.

The awards evening was a glittering affair with black and gold colours adorning the venue. Guests were also dressed to the nines, while the entertainment from the SAPS band and other vocalists added to the glamourous evening where crime fighting excellence took centre stage.
