Ikageng police are investigating a murder after a 41-year-old man, identified as Thapelo Plaatjies, was stabbed and killed at his home in Adolf Willemse Street in Aksie Park on Monday, 13 February.

According to police spokesperson Colonel Adele Myburgh, the incident occurred at approximately 16:30. A case of murder was opened after Plaatjies was stabbed to death. At the moment, the motive for the murder remains unknown. ” The suspect will be appearing in the Potchefstroom magistrates court on Thursday, 16 February,” Myburgh confirmed.
