Potchefstroom Hospital honours long serving employees

Two employees reached the remarkable 40-year mark and received a rousing applause. They are Ms Mita Kgori and Ms Sharon Bezuidenhout.

Potchefstroom Hospital honoured their dedicated employees during a Long Service Awards function at Lyon Paradise on Friday, 3 November. Numerous employees received framed certificates for 10, 20, 30 and 40 years of service at Potchefstroom Hospital. Two employees reached the remarkable 40-year mark and received a rousing applause. They are Ms Mita Kgori and Ms Sharon Bezuidenhout.

The acting CEO of Potchefstroom Hospital, Dr Michael Shakung, said these awards strive to salute, honour and recognise dedicated and committed staff.

“We appreciate all the hard work that you do. Despite the challenges in the community, you continue to serve the people of J.B. Marks and make Potchefstroom Hospital one of the better facilities in North West,” he added.

Mr Thabo Motlhatswi, serving on the Potchefstroom Hospital Board of Directors, also said in his keynote address that the employees who receive these awards have put in the hard work and know what it takes.

“They are ethical men and women who only serve the best interest of Potch Hospital to provide services to the community and save lives daily. We celebrate you for these achievements,” he added.
