Potchefstroom Central School made a difference to their local community during Cancer Awareness Month in October. Central sold cupcakes to raise an amount of R 16 000 to Cupcakes of Hope, a nonprofit organisation.

Cupcakes of Hope was founded in 2009 by Lori-Anne Hill. Their aim is to raise awareness and funds for families in need of medical assistance.

With the help of Madz Creations, a bakery based in Potchefstroom, PCS sold 1080 cupcakes.

PCS is proud of their learners and parents who supported this initiative.
