The entire Ventersdorp area is currently without electricity due to cable theft on April 29.

Jeanette Tshite, municipal spokesperson, says Ventersdorp is without electricity due to cable theft near Henwil Poultry Farm in Lichtenburg.

“Eskom has been notified and is attending to the matter. At this stage, no estimated time for restoration has been provided. Electricity supply will be restored as soon as repairs are completed. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.”
