Young male missing for more than a month

Tlotliso Miya was supposed to return home to his parents in Phuthaditjhaba in the Free State on June 19, but he never arrived home.

Potchefstroom police are still searching for Tlotliso Miya (19) who has gone missing since Friday, June 19.

Tlotliso was supposed to return home to his parents in Phuthaditjhaba in the Free State on June 19, but he never arrived home.

He last spoke with his father telephonically on Tuesday, 2 June informing him that he would be home around Friday, 19 June 2026.

“We request the community’s assistance in locating Tlotliso Miya who was residing in the Bult in Dwars Street. A search commenced and extensive investigations were conducted, but police could not locate him. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance,” added NW police spokesperson, Capt. Majang Skalkie.

According to the police, Tlotliso is light in complexion, has a slender built body with black afro hair, a black moustache and a black beard.

The police request anyone who may have information regarding Tlotliso Miya’s whereabouts to contact the Investigating Officer, Warrant Officer Ithuteng Legotlo on 073 034 7852.
