One of Promosa’s most well-known pastors, Ps. Samuel Johannes Slambert, was called home to be with the Lord on July 23 2026 at the age of 83.

Ps. Slambert, born on August 6, 1942, devoted his life to serving God and faithfully shepherding His people. As the pastor of UPC Faith Tabernacle, he ministered with unwavering faith, humility, compassion, and dedication. His preaching of the Gospel, heartfelt prayers, wise counsel, and genuine love for people touched the lives of countless individuals and families over many years.

Pastor Slambert was a true servant of God whose life reflected the love of Christ. He inspired many through his steadfast faith, integrity, and commitment to God’s Word. His influence extended far beyond the walls of the church, leaving a lasting legacy in the community and in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

“Although we grieve his passing, we rejoice in the assurance that he has entered into the glorious presence of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, whom he served faithfully throughout his life,” stated his family.

Pastor Slambert was laid to rest on August 1, 2026, surrounded by family, friends, fellow ministers, and members of the congregation who gathered to celebrate his remarkable life and enduring legacy.
