New Cross Country Grand Prix series set to kick off in Potch

"We encourage all athletes to advantage of these opportunities as performances around the world are raising the bar.”

In a breakthrough, Athletics South Africa (ASA) has unveiled a four-leg ASA Cross Country Grand Prix series. These Cross Country meetings will be held in Potchefstroom (6 July), Tshwane  (13 July), Port Elizabeth (3 August) and Johannesburg (24 August).

“We are extremely excited with this breakthrough in the calendar,” said Aleck Skhosana, the President of ASA. “These grand prix series and the senior champs will allow our athletes high quality competition at home.

“It will also afford the Athletics Family to witness their elite athletes in top competition within their own country. We encourage all athletes to advantage of these opportunities as performances around the world are raising the bar.”
