The Potchefstroom Elevation Ultimate Frisbee Club are heading to the SA championships in Cape Town from 29 April to 1 May after their Rooikatte team went unbeaten at the Northern Regionals in Soweto at the end of March.

Potch Elevation sent two teams (Rooikatte and Bobcats) to the regionals, where sides from Gauteng, Free State, North West and Limpopo competed.

Potch Elevation Rooikatte beat Tailwhip 15–5 in the final. Ultimate Frisbee is self-refed, therefore, there is also a spirit score, based on fairness, communication, sportsmanship, rules and knowledge, evaluated after each game. The Bobcats team achieved the highest spirit score overall for the entire tournament. Due to the nationals taking place in Cape Town, Elevation would appreciate any sponsorship to help with travel and accommodation costs.
