NWU badminton players rack up medals

The North West University’s badminton stars continued their good form winning numerous medals at the Botswana International series that took place from 24-27 November.

The North West University’s badminton stars continued their good form winning numerous medals at the Botswana International series that took place from 24-27 November.

Jared Elliot (NWU) and Amy Ackerman won gold in the mixed doubles division. Ackerman made it two gold medals when she and Deidré Jordaan (NWU) won gold in the ladies doubles.

Elliot also picked up a silver medal when he and Robert Summers took second spot in the men’s doubles division.

These players have another shot at gold when they compete in the final tournament of the year from 1-4 December in Cape Town.
