NWU Tawana and NW Signal FC struggle with back to back defeats in ABC Motsepe league

NWU Tawana next face Stilfontein Real Hearts in an away game on Saturday, 10 December, whilst NW Signal FC take on Kgositlile FC at Temba Stadium in Hammanskraal.

A combination of bad luck, missed chances and some apparent poor refereeing has cost both NWU Tawana and NW Signal FC victory in their past two ABC Motsepe League NW stream A matches.

NW Signal FC lost 2-1 to Orbit College at home after taking a 1-0 lead thanks to a strike from Loyiso Nthutang. NWU Tawana felt aggrieved after losing 3-2 to Kgositlile FC from Hammanskraal in a home game last week Friday (2 December).

According to NWU Tawana head coach, Michael Seleka his team created chances but could not capatalise. His side were also down to ten men which created further problems.

“We were also denied two penalties, whilst penalties were awarded against us,” lamented Seleka.

Tawana next face Stilfontein Real Hearts in an away game on Saturday, 10 December, whilst NW Signal FC take on Kgositlile FC at Temba Stadium in Hammanskraal.

A win will be crucial for both Potch-based sides to build momentum before the end of the year, heading into the Christmas break.
