The J.B Marks executive mayor, Kgotso Khumalo has made replacements to his mayoral committee after the municipality lost three councillors in 2018 and 2019.

The J.B Marks executive mayor, Kgotso Khumalo has made replacements to his mayoral committee after the municipality lost three councillors in 2018 and 2019.

Since August 2016, the council lost Moeder Mokae, Eric Louw and Duduetsang Modise.

The mayor has appointed Gerald Modise for Human Settlement and Planning, Xolile Chaka to lead Local Economic Development (LED) and Lesego Molapisi to be in charge of Sports, Arts and Culture.

Khumalo says the replacements were made with a view to improving and making service delivery more effective.
