Wolf in a dress may be a hijacker

Leon Vathian has issued a warning to motorists of a woman who is possibly involved in a hijacking scheme.

“She tries to lure innocent motorists to stop and assist her. Once you have stopped you are robbed or hijacked of your vehicle,” claimed Vathian.

He said the woman was Caucasian, estimated to be in her early 40s, about 1.6m tall with shoulder length blonde hair. “She is always on the Beyers Naude and Malibongwe drives freeway on-ramps. She parks her car on the side of the road and waves you down to assist her as if she has broken down. I have seen her on three different occasions. She has two men that are hiding in the back of the car.”

The first time he encountered her, he alerted Metro police officers sitting under a bridge near the Rivonia road off-ramp. “I have seen the same woman next to a red Alfa Romeo 156 and next to a dark blue VW Golf 1. Motorists must be aware of this wolf in sheep’s clothing.”
