Celebrity father Loyiso Bala in the spotlight

CRESTA – Loyiso Bala a compassionate and committed father to one-year-old Kenzie.

RnB and Gospel Musician Loyiso Bala (34) is a loving father, and is the world to his daughter of 15 months, Kenzie Bala.

According to Jennifer Bala, Loyiso’s wife, the winner of five South African Music Awards (SAMAs) and three Metro FM awards is an “amazing father”.He is the apple of Kenzie’s eye and she really is a ‘daddy’s girl’,” she said.

“He is a very busy man, but we always make sure she speaks to him via FaceTime or on the phone and as soon as the phone rings, she shouts, ‘Tata!’. When he returns from a trip, she will hear his car coming up the driveway, run to greet him and hug and kiss him at least 15 times.”

Loyiso said the greatest joy of him being a father is the moment he comes home and Kenzie gives him “unconditional love”.

Loyiso is committed to his family and spends as much time with Kenzie as possible, even allowing Jennifer to sleep longer in the mornings while he feeds Kenzie, changes her nappies and plays with her.

The two read together before bed and sing along to Kenzie’s favourite nursery rhymes.

“She is a very loving baby, just like her father,” Jennifer continued.

“And he is so besotted with her, it is too cute to watch. I couldn’t ask for a better father to my child.”

Loyiso said that Kenzie motivates him.

“Being a father changes your world,” he said.

“It gives it meaning. When someone out there hates me it motivates me, it gives me a reason to keep striving for my destiny.”

According to Loyiso, fatherhood is more related to service than status, and children are parents’ greatest responsibility.

Loyiso will visit CUM Books, Clearwater Mall on 14 June and Cresta Shopping Centre on 21 June, to sign his album Power Love Sound.
