Malanshof bring and braai
MALANSHOF – Residents braai ahead of tackling crime and municipal problems.
Residents of Malanshof know that strength lies in unity, and unity begins with food.
That is why they held a community bring and braai at Diggers Rugby Club, Praegville recently.
About 25 families were represented, and Ward 104 councillor Mike Wood attended.
He praised the group for coming together as a whole, with a common interest.
He said that only with conversation between community members will the suburb be strong enough to withstand crime and solve water and power problems in the area.
Conversations were diverse among the attendees, but it was generally agreed that they were on the path to building a strong residents’ group, and that the event would not be the last.
The group communicates on multiple WhatsApp groups, and a Facebook page.
