Wakaberry-on-the-Move bus at Northgate

Early detection of breast cancer can save lives see how Wakaberry-on-the-Move bus is making a difference.

The Wakaberry-on-the-Move bus arrived at Northgate Shopping Centre’s Wakaberry on 23 October for the Pink Drive awareness campaign.

Pink Drive is the countrys’ first mobile bus unit that travels around South Africa to educate on breast cancer and also provides a mammography unit, thus creating awareness on early detection of breast cancer and how to perform your own examination.

On 23 October the unit visited Wakaberry at Northgate Shopping Centre, by setting up a stall inside the shop with educational pamphlets and items for sale such as the Pink Ribbon for R10. Watch out for the next mobile bus in your area. Get smart, “Early detection of breast cancer saves lifes.”
