SUNDOWNER - Three suspects will appear at the Roodepoort Magistrates' Court on the 8 December.

Three suspects will appear at the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court on 8 December, following their arrest after a shoot-out on 4 December after a robbery in Sundowner.

Honeydew SAPS spokesperson Warrant Officer Karen Jacobs confirmed that they will their appear in court after receiving medical treatment.

The five suspects held up two children and the domestic worker at gunpoint while loading their white Ford Ranger double-cab bakkie with stolen goods.

The domestic worker alerted Londoloza Security Company.

They responded to the call and opened fire when the five male suspects pointed a firearm at the TRT team.

The shooting continued all the way down President Fouché Drive and ended at the intersection of Malibongwe and President Fouché drives.

Two suspects have died after being shot.

The other three that also received medical treatment, will be fit to appear in court on the 8 December, according to the police.
