Midrand murder case woes continue
RANDBURG – Midrand murder of Thohira Mita took a peculiar turn in court.
Three suspects accused of murdering and robbing Thohira Mita appeared in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court on 10 April. See previous story.
The date was set for the three to apply for a formal bail application. Two of the suspects surprisingly abandoned their applications. The last suspect’s attorney did not turn up for his client’s case.
The case has therefore been moved to 1 June. In further developments, Deliwe Patricia Zwakala (domestic worker accused of being an accomplice) will have her day in court on 15 April.
Senior prosecutor Yusuf Baba will be refering the matter to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions to determine the forum in which and where the trial will be held.
