SAPS Provincial Spokesperson, Luitenant Colonel Tsekiso Mofokeng said, ”Investigations are still ongoing. The crime scene is still active and we will inform the public as soon as we are finished.”

The corner of William Nicol and Republic Road has been closed.

According to eyewitnesses, one person has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.
