A touch of paint goes a long way

WINDSOR GLEN – Making the streets of Windsor Glen pretty with stunning dustbin makeovers.

Andrews Academy in Windsor Glen has taken it upon itself to beautify the dustbins in their area.

The academy’s art department under the guidance of dedicated teacher and fine artist, Shiralee Siebert has created a way for youngsters to give back to the community.

Recently, the headmaster, an artist himself, acting on inspiration, came up with a novel idea to brighten up the school premises and the neighbourhood.

He tasked schoolchildren to employ their artistic skills in creating colour and brightness with scenes from nature on otherwise dull and uninteresting municipal dustbins.
