No tears on first day of school

RANDBURG – First day of school for Grade 1 children at Laerskool Fontainebleau

Laerskool Fontainebleau welcomed 120 Grade 1 children on 17 January, as public and some private schools start the first term.

The Grade 1 block at the school was filled with parents and grandparents snapping pictures of their young ones to remember today.

While the school has just reopened, the children will be preparing for one of the biggest athletics meets in the country.

There will be more than 40 participating schools from various provinces and the meet will be a chance to promote the school and assess their athletes before the district athletics competitions.
