New Linden police Sector 2 commander ready to curb crime
LINDEN – Sergeant Bhekifa Richard Marsh is committed to reducing crime in his area.
The new Sector 2 commander of the Linden police is committed to reducing crime in his area.
“My main goal is to bring the crime rate down and work with the community,” said the new commander, Sergeant Bhekifa Richard Marsh.
Before being appointed, Marsh worked in the liquor, firearms, and second-hand goods division of the police.
“Sector policing is a partnership between the police and the community, so we work together in assisting in reducing the crime rate.”
The suburbs in Sector 2 are Linden, Linden Ext, Risidale, Franklin Roosevelt, Victory Park, Montroux, Aldara Park, Pierneef Park, Delta Park and Darrenwood, from west of Republic Road on number 16 and 21 Cheyne Street.
