RRVA makes Randpark Ridge a better place

Local residents association works with Community Policing Forum, municipal entities and the ward councillor to improve the area.

One active resident’s association is asking community members to get involved.

The Randpark Ridge Village Association (RRVA) is currently busy with projects, including the revamping of four substations, cutting grass at parks, installing no-dumping signs, working with the Community Policing Forum (CPF) and security companies to combat crime – including this through the use of its street cameras – and much more.

The association is active in working with municipal entities and Ward 98 councillor Beverley Jacobs to deal with issues that arise.

These include road, water and electricity matters in the area.

“We will welcome any members,” said RRVA chairperson Quinton Robbertze.

“The best would be to visit our office in Randpark Ridge Shopping Centre on Randpark Drive or visit our website and download the application form. Currently only about 30% of the residents are contributing to our residence association.”
