Curro Aurora opens doors for Grade 1s class of 2024

Curro Aurora's head of primary Trusha Moodley looks forward to creating an environment that inspires growth, resilience and lifelong love for learning for the grade one class of 2024

The day had finally arrived for the Grade 1s 2024 at Curro Aurora Primary in Sundowner. The teachers and staff welcomed the children warmly.

There was music playing, cameras were flashing, and tissues were readily at hand for parents as teachers and staff enjoyed a special morning welcoming the new Grade 1s to big school.

The new Grade 1s who will be matrics in 2035 were excited to ring the bell as part of the school initiation to officially welcome them. In class, the learners were already doing some work and making friends.

“The commencement of the Grade 1s was nothing short of exciting and memorable. To witness them partake in the initiation. That symbolic act hails great significance as it signifies the beginning of the new chapter in their academic lives.”
