Cosmo-based artist is making big moves in 2024

Cosmo City-based Presiident Vulturee is working on new music to be released in 2024 with one of the big producers in South Africa.

Cosmo City-based multi-talented artist Lekhotla Lenong is looking to make big moves in 2024.
Lenong, famously known as Presiident Vulturee, is originally from Phomolong Hennenman in the Free State.

He is a self-published author, musician, actor, poet, and MC. His book Rituals: The Wicked Shall Fall is about enlightening people against the wickedness and the darkness of this world.

He explained the book was inspired by what was happening globally. “Some people are becoming rich out of other people. Some people sacrifice other people including loved ones for monetary purposes. After reading this book, people will understand that no evil can surpass God and there is only one God.”

He added the book is doing better than he expected.

“My target market is everyone really, especially those in the dark. I pray to reach every part of the world and through God who gave me this gift, it will happen.”

Lenong decided to dive into the music industry in 2020. He was inspired by his sister who used to write down the lyrics of her favourite songs.

“I would often find myself with the book and memorise the songs. That’s how I fell in love with music. Sometimes I tried to rewrite those songs with my lyrics and melodies and I would sing them to my cousins.”
He started to write and listen to more hip-hop music. “I started to be in that space and met friends who were also rappers.”
Lenong music is based on true stories, his life journey and experiences. He is currently working on an EP with Ron Epidemic, a platinum-selling music producer.

Explaining how his name President Vulturee came about, he said his surname Lenong means ‘vulture’ and growing up, his late father used to say he was going to be a doctor, principal or president, and that’s where the ‘Presiident’ came from.

“I’m still a doctor through my music and a teacher.”
