The energy on the field was palpable as participants transitioned into technical exercises that tested their ball control, passing accuracy, and tactical awareness.

“Essentially, what we are trying to do today is to strengthen our squad,” said Randburg AFC Ladies’ head coach Arthur Brooks. “The fact that we decided to play in an indoor court, we were looking to see how well they do in tight spaces, their technical ability, and how they do under pressure. Those are all the attributes that make a good footballer. From our perspective the trial is going very well. We picked up some talented players.”

One standout moment of the day was during the small-sided matches, where players demonstrated their ability to work in a team setting. A few notable performances caught the eye of the coaching staff, including Kemoratile Bapela, whose agility and clinical finishing set her apart. “I am very happy to have been selected. This is my opportunity to shine. I am hoping to get to the first team which will bring me one step closer to turning pro,” said Bapela.
