Radley Private Primary School learners learn important lesson on Backward Day.

Radley Private Primary School celebrated Backward Day, a fun and unconventional way to challenge the norm on January 31.

The learners arrived with inside-out uniforms, mismatched outfits, socks over their shoes, backpacks worn on the front, and even their timetables running in reverse.

Radley Private Primary School principal Charne De Gouveia explained that beyond the fun and laughter, the day served a greater purpose.

“Entrepreneurship requires adaptability, resilience, and the ability to think outside the box. Just like in business, where plans don’t always go as expected, our entrepreneurs have to adjust, embrace the unexpected, and stay positive in a changing environment,” she said.

She added at school, they believed that success was not about following a set path—it was about navigating the twists and turns with confidence, creativity, and an open mind.
