Old Parks Club hosts their biggest annual 6-a-side tournament
Football lovers came out in numbers to participate in the Old Parks three-day 6-a-side games.
Old Parks Soccer Division held its three-day annual 6-a-side tournament for various age groups.

This year’s tournament was the biggest, with 185 teams participating over the weekend of March 28–30.
The three-day competition kicked off with the U9 and U10 teams taking to the fields. On Saturday, the U11s, U12s and girls’ teams tested their skills, and in the afternoon, it was the turn of the U6, U7 and U8 teams. Sunday morning finished off with the U13, U15 and U17 games.
Old Parks’ Travis Kitch said, “It was fun for everyone and we thank everyone for the big sell-out we had. The competition was good and the football on display was excellent, and we hope all the teams have a great season going forward in 2025.”

Kitch thanked the sports club and ground staff for getting everything ready and the committee for all their assistance.
Winners of the tournament from different age groups were:
- U11 – Transition FC
- U12 – Valley FC
Ladies Winners – Panorama Regional 1
- U13 – Jozi Stars
- U15 – Super Gauteng FC
- U17 – Westrand Ballers
