Lubbe has spent countless hours observing wildlife in the Kruger National Park, Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, and other reserves, and with over two decades of corporate experience, and 16 years as a business coach, he’s created a book that presents 25 concise lessons that connect nature’s survival strategies with today’s business world.

At the heart of the book is the idea of unlocking potential. Lubbe believes most people only tap into a small part of their true abilities. Bush Lessons 4 Business encourages readers to rethink their approach to business and problem-solving.

“This book isn’t just about the lessons I explain,” Lubbe said. “It’s about provoking thought and sparking conversations that wouldn’t otherwise take place.”

Lubbe argues that nature is more than just a metaphor; it is a strategic guide. By learning how animals adapt and survive, business leaders can develop strategies to navigate in an ever-changing market. The book combines conventional business knowledge with nature-inspired insights, making it relevant for professionals across various industries.

This 80-page book integrates wildlife photography with practical lessons, making it visually appealing and easy to digest. Each chapter includes:

• A personal anecdote titled: ‘Through My Lens’,
• A thought-provoking question for reflection, and
• A QR code linking to video content where Lubbe shares his insights directly from the African bush.

This multimedia approach provides an immersive learning experience for readers.

“In today’s complex business environment, we often believe we need complex solutions,” Lubbe explains. “However, Bush Lessons 4 Business reminds us that simplicity often leads to the most effective results.”

The book covers a wide range of topics, such as:

• Using hidden animal tracks as a metaphor for evaluating key business success metrics,
• Recognising blind spots and valuing diverse perspectives, and
• Applying simple, step-by-step strategies for growth.

Written in an easy-to-read style, the book is designed for busy professionals who want quick, actionable insights, rather than lengthy theoretical discussions.

Lubbe’s work has been endorsed by retired professor and entrepreneur Willie Conradie, who praises Lubbe’s intellect, storytelling ability, and keen observations. Building on the success of the book, Lubbe is offering masterclasses and bush retreats to help individuals, and businesses, apply these principles in real-world settings.

“Bush Lessons 4 Business is more than just a book; it’s a tool for transformation,” Lubbe says. “Changing your environment can lead to new ideas and solutions. That’s what the bush has done for me, and I want to share that with others.”
