The memorial tournament is held annually in honour of Lewis-Williams, a dearly loved member of HBC, who passed away in 2011 at the age of 60. The tournament was initiated in 2013 by Allen’s brother, Joss Lewis-Williams, and now attracts bowlers from various clubs in the area.
