The aim of the expos are to motivate, educate, and inspire the youth. They have young speakers that can communicate on their level, fun filled presentations, and multimedia and youth brands, who see value in speaking to the learners, giving them cool merchandise during the expos.

The expos tour has already visited schools across Pietermaritzburg, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Gqeberha between January and May 2025. They are free for learners and schools that participate. Kay Cheytanov, the founder, confirmed that, by the end of April, Rocking Future had inspired 24 796 students across the country, with 6 186 students in 55 schools in Johannesburg alone.

Delta Park learners got a chance to learn more about different careers, as well as how they can get into different institutions.

Cheytanov explained that, by presenting the learners with a wide variety of choices from private tertiary institutions, they remove the barrier to entry that they face when applying for state university slots. “Private tertiary institutions, certified with the exact same qualifications, have less red tape, and can place learners in study choices according to their needs. They also offer skills development courses, all the way up to master’s degrees. Most of the institutions we represent are also accredited overseas, which opens more doors for the students.”

Delta Park principal Dr Hannetjie Britz said that she appreciates Rocking Future for coming out to assist their learners. “Our learners do use the information. Some of our learners do go to these institutions and they have been successful. We have a small number of learners, and it has been really good for us. We are very optimistic, and we trust that we can keep the relationship going.”
